Hello Kitty Cake

I have used fondant several times before, just as an accent on some of my buttercream covered cakes.  This was my first attempt at covering an entire cake with fondant.  I did fairly well for my first attempt, however I had a small issue smoothing out the last bit of fondant on the bottom tier.  I tell you, they sure make it look easy on tv.  I really enjoyed doing this. 

I made the Hello Kitty out of fondant a few days ago and let her sit to dry.  Makenzie did not see it until today and I thought her eyes were going to bug out of her head.  I finished the cake this evening and I can't wait for her to see the finished product.
